News: Pakistani Actress Meera Signs Indian Film

LAHORE: Pakistani Actress Meera has signed an Indian film "Aisa Paisa Jaisa" directed by Ashish Kohal.

The sources from India have confirmed that Meera has agreed to work for the film. Besides Meera, the cast of the film includes Arjun Rampaal, Gulshan Grohar, Shakhti Kapoor, Johnny Lever, Amrita Rao and others.

The shooting of the film is scheduled to take place in the first week of August in Indian city Puna. It is a comedy film and two songs will be filmed on Meera.

Talking to MusicPakistan.net Meera said she opted for the film as the character offered to her was strong. She hopes the movie will be a hit in India.

News: U, Me aur Ham doing good business in Pakistan

Indian film "U, Me aur Hum" is doing a record business in Pakistan.

The film was released nation wide a few days back. It is a home production of Indian actor Ajay Devgan. The film is provided with piracy control according to Copy Right Act. Sadaf Entertainment have arranged for the movie's release in Pakistan and have made it sure that no fake CDs or DVDs of the film are being sold in market.

The copy rights holder of the film Producer Najam Malik said in order to save Pakistani cinema it was mandatory to control piracy. Our films are successful because we take proper measures against their piracy, he added.

News: Reema starts work on Kitni Haseen Hai Zindagi

Reema has started working on her upcoming film "Kitni Haseen Hai Zindagi". She returned from India three days back and started work on music of her film. She was present at a local recording studio where Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was recording a song for the movie.

Talking to MusicPakistan.net she said her film would be on a different subject and she would present it in a unique way.

The story had been made after a thorough research on cinema-goers so that everyone could enjoy the film, she added.

News: Atif to perform for special children

Singer Atif Aslam will perform at Alhamra Cultural Complex Lahore next month. The function would be an exclusive musical show for special children arranged by a welfare organization. Atif was offered to perform for special children and he readily accepted it. Other singers including Waris Baig, Mulko, Shabnam Majeed will also be performing the musical show.
