Reema Khan (born October 27, 1971) popularly known as Reema dubbed as the "Reema Khan of Pakistan", is a Pakistani film actress. During the start of her career, she was known as Reema, but later on she was known also as Reema Khan. In 2005, she introduced herself as a producer and director with the film "Koi Tujsa Kahan". She debuted as an actress in the film "Bulandi", directed by Mohammad Javed Fazil in 1990, opposite Shaan. At the time of her debut in "Bulandi", it was the reign of Anjuman, Neeli, Nadra and Shahida Minni. The great success of Javed Fazal "Bulandi" not only helped Reema to stick in Lollywood but also gave a lovely pair of Reema and Shaan to Lollywood, success key of every film.

It immediately landed in trouble with the Pakistani Government, who objected strongly to a scene where she kisses the hero (played by Ashmit Patel of India), on religious and moral grounds. Allegedly, Meera has been fined an undisclosed amount for the kiss. Reportedly, the Pakistani Government is also considering a ban on Pakistani actors from working on Indian projects. Later doubts were placed on Meera's claim that she had been fined when the Pakistani government denied placing any fines on Meera for the kiss. Mahesh Bhatt, the film's producer has been known for antics such as these to gain popularity for his movie projects. She had also claimed to have received death threats that were strongly disputed by her own colleagues.
